All over the years, one of the strategic targets of Vimercati has been the creation of a lean, flexible, reactive – as well as cost-effective – structure.

In the manufacturing process, this means that the highly automated operations of assembling and final control are performed at Pero premises, while intermediate, semi-automatic phases which often require substantial intervention of manpower have been outsourced to qualified sub-contractors.
This policy has proved extremely successful because the choice of valid sub-contractors – able to meet the organisational and quality standards required by our clients – has allowed us to limit costs, to be highly flexible, and to deliver in due time also in case of major difficulties.
Sub-contractors are selected and periodically assessed as any other suppliers, to check that technical, quality and logistic standards are assured.
Thanks to this process of organisational growth, Vimercati has developed and strengthened long-term relationships with sub-contractors, who have become more and more reliable.
Sub-contractors agree to use the same instruments, the same design and control methods, the same quality standards as Vimercati, who remains the sole owner of the production instruments.
In any outsourced facility a small scale copy of Vimercati’s manufacturing process has been created, keeping the necessary organisational and quality standards. This system has brought about a steady improvement in flexibility and cost competitiveness.
